Welcome to KRISCHELLA, a vibrant, festival-themed birthday experience celebrating my 30th! Picture the magic of an EDM festival, combined with the ultimate Scottsdale getaway—packed with pool parties, sound baths, and a lineup of amazing friends. Our home base for the weekend was an incredible Airbnb located in the heart of Scottsdale. This luxurious retreat provided the perfect setting to kick off the celebration. With spacious rooms, a pool, and plenty of natural light, it was the ideal spot for a group of 10 to relax and recharge between activities. The festival-inspired décor, complete with a balloon arch and light-up letters, transformed the space into our own personal mini-festival. The setup couldn’t have been more perfect for an unforgettable weekend.
SATURDAY
We started the day at The Eleanor, where we indulged in a delicious brunch with iced coffees and classic brunch dishes. The cozy atmosphere and great food made it the perfect place to fuel up for the festivities ahead.
The festival vibe officially began as we made our way to Wild Horse Pass Casino for an epic pool party featuring R3HAB at the Oasis Pool! We fully embraced Virgo season with our “Earth Sign” theme with brown, nude, and green outfits, adding Y2K-inspired accessories to create that perfect festival chic look.

After the pool party, we headed to Sunbar in Tempe, where we danced and shuffled the night away to house music with Layton Giordani. The outdoor vibes downstairs are a nice compliment to the upstairs venue, and incredible house music made it the perfect end to an already epic day.

SUNDAY
We started the day with a grounding sound bath from The Balanced Bachelorette, which helped us recharge for the remainder of the weekend. The calming energy set the perfect tone for the day’s festivities and was a perfect way to bring the group together for some energy healing.
Dressed in our “Scottsdale Sunset” themed outfits, with dramatic colors like pink, red, and orange, we took in the sunshine and good vibes by the pool.
One of the highlights of the evening was a game of Friends Jeopardy that I created. I put together fun and hilarious categories like:
– Things We No Longer Do After 30: Relatable moments that everyone in their 30s can appreciate.
– Did I Say That??: I pulled out funny quotes from my friends, collected from old text messages and inside jokes.
– EDM is Life: Trivia from my favorite EDM artists—testing everyone’s festival knowledge.
– Friend Not So Fun Facts: A “guess who” style round where surprising facts about each friend were revealed.
– Unpopular Opinions: Another “guess who” round for quirky, unexpected opinions that sparked some playful debates.
Instead of just having 3 players, I had everyone write their guesses in their notes app and we went around the room after everyone guessed each question to see who was correct! This game was the perfect way to reflect on our friendships, laugh, and learn some surprising things about each other.
