Sephora Sale

April 22, 2020

As you’ve probably already seen, Sephora is having a huge sale- and this NEVER happens! I am so excited because there are some awesome products being discounted that you normally wouldn’t catch a sale on! They are offering 10% off to beauty insiders, 15% off to VIB, and 20% off to Rouge.

I’ve rounded up some amazing products I am using regularly, or give my utmost recommendation to. I narrowed it down to the 3 main categories: makeup, skin, and hair. You can click on the images to shop!!! Also thank you in advance for using my links 🙂

HAIR:

Amika and Moroccan Oil are my two favorite hair care lines, followed closely by Olaplex. For normal hair, they have great products are universally a staple. Un.Done texture spray, Perk Up dry shampoo, The Wizard detangling spray, and Soulfood nourishing hair mask sre all great options to try out. The Bust Your Brass purple shampoo is also a top seller for blondes because it helps maintain brightness.

Moroccan Oil Intense Hydrating Mask & Curl Defining Cream are my two must-have picks for thick curly hair.

You really cant go wrong with Olaplex- and I highly recommend it to anyone who processes their hair often and/or deals with breakage and damaged hair. The #3 is a 10 min-overnight lightweight repair treatment (not a deep conditioner), #6 is a styling potion whether you air dry or blow dry your hair, and the #7 is their latest addition to the line- a lightweight oil to run through after styling.

I also listed the Dyson Blowdryer & flat iron because since I brought them home from the salon, I don’t think I’ll ever go back to my other styling tools. The dryer is quiet and lightweight, and I love the diffuser attachment for curly hair.

Last but not least, a root covering spray for those days in between your color appointment that you wanna hide any grays, and some silky soft hair ties that are gentleon your locks, preventing tension and breakage.

MAKEUP:

Ok so I picked 3 foundations with various coverage that I always go back to. The Perricone foundation is PERFECT for that no makeup look- its leightweight, silky and packed with some great skincare ingredients. It cosmetics CC cream has medium coverage with a natural skin finish- I prefer the original version of this one! Nars natural radiant longwear is one I love for a day or night out, even though its not over the top full coverage, its buildable and hides everything naturally!

This Tatcha primer has AMAZING ratings, so I had to try it out – I’ll keep you posted on how I like it! For concealer, I actually didn’t include Tarte Shape Tape, but I usually switch between that one and Nars Radiant concealer. Those are my current go-to favorites. I always use my beauty blender to put these on, so I’d grab one of those to stock up on too!

For eyes and lips, I’ve been stuck on the Urban Decay Naked Reloaded palette, and the Charlotte Tillbury lip liners. They have so many shades to choose from and they’re silky smooth and last all day.

Nars Orgasm is a CLASSIC blush shade. It’s peachy pink which looks amazing on every skin color with a hint of shimmer for that summer day glow. Pair it with the hourglass bronzer and Becca highlight, and you’re gonna be feeling like a show stopper. For the highlight, my favorite shades are tied with moonstone (when I’m more fair) and prosecco pop (when I have a little more color).

Use the Laura Mercier setting powder, which is also a makeup bag staple, to set and lock in your work of art.

SKIN:

For skincare, I really wanted to dive in and try some new things that came highly recommended. The lip sleeping mask, sk-ii sheet masks, Drunk Elephant Retinol cream, and Superberry Dream mask were all on my list.

Part of my regimen is The Ordinary Hyluaronic acid after washing, applying the Origins Ginzing eye cream (this is great if you have puffy eyes when you wake up!) and plopping on some sunscreen. Supergoop! is a great go to. Also for puffy eyes, I included the Milk cooling eye stick. Hack- put it in the fridge & use it when you wake up!

If you’re like me and you break out when its that time of month, these acne dots will be your lifesaver. Just put a little dot over your pimple before you go to sleep, and when you wake up you’ll notice how much it went down!!

Last but not least, I’ve really been loving the Isle of Paradise self tanning drops. I use the shade dark. I mix a couple drops in my lotion that I put all over my body, and 1 drop into my moisturizer in the AM, so my face gets a little tan throughout the day.

& that’s a wrap! Hopefully this helped out your Sephora shopping experience! If you try any of these goodies let me know if you love them!!
